These terms describe use of First Basket Lab at firstbasketlab.com. Please read them alongside our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

Entertainment and research, not a sportsbook

First Basket Lab provides basketball statistics, experimental forecasts, historical replays, and research tools for entertainment and informational purposes. We do not accept wagers, hold betting funds, pay winnings, or settle sportsbook bets. The site is intended for adults aged 18 or older; any wagering is subject to the higher minimum age and other laws that apply where you are located.

Understand the predictions

Our primary first-points target includes made free throws. Other targets, such as first possession or the selected player's method, have their own definitions. A selected-player method forecast is conditional on that player scoring first. Sportsbooks may use different market definitions, participation rules, and settlement policies; our records do not determine the outcome of any wager.

Model probabilities are estimates, not guarantees or recommendations to wager. Historical replays are reconstructed research and are not equivalent to predictions saved before a game. Past performance, hit rates, and backtests do not establish future accuracy or profitability. Data may be incomplete, delayed, revised, or wrong.

Your decisions

You are responsible for your use of the information and for complying with applicable laws. Nothing on the site is individualized betting, financial, investment, or other professional advice. Independently verify information relevant to your decisions. Do not risk money you cannot afford to lose.

Permitted use

You may browse the public site for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to access owner tools without authorization, bypass security or rate limits, interfere with the service, send spam through the contact form, or misrepresent our research as guaranteed results. Public data requests made by the website do not grant access to private systems or provider credentials.

Content and third parties

Our original software, presentation, and written analysis are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Team and player names, statistics, trademarks, logos, and third-party materials retain their respective rights; we do not claim ownership of underlying sports facts. Unless expressly stated, First Basket Lab is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NBA, its teams, players, sportsbooks, or data providers. Third-party services and linked websites have their own terms.

Availability and limitations

The site is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted access, complete data, or error-free forecasts. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and financial outcomes, and are not responsible for losses resulting from reliance on experimental forecasts. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and contact
